We recently visited a downtown Sacramento Victorian to shoot our most recent catalog Fashion Rehab:Relapse. It was a long day but we had a great time and the catalog is going to look great! We love the models we work with, they make our job so easy. Here are some behind the scenes pics of the shoot. Enjoy!
Let’s Makeup! our MUA saved the day! We lost our MUA last minute to illness so our models got on the phone and got us a GREAT replacement. We highly recommend Let’s Makeup! for any upcoming shoots.
One of our “orderlies” for the shoot was a bit too strong for his scrubs… Clothespins helped us out for most of the day, but you can see from the pictures they didn’t last long!
Nobody is perfect and the day wasn’t without it’s technical difficulties, it rarely is. We lost a light just before we started, then couldn’t control the few we had left!
All the models were awesome and kept it light and fun. As you can see, they’re a bit shy…
This scene was a “breaking out” scene where the Fashion Rehab patients try to make their escape. It was a fun shot to get, so much so that the models couldn’t keep from laughing about it. It was a fun shoot to say the least!
We had to get creative with the few props we brought to this empty Victorian. You can see the progression in the picture below. We went from simply playing cards to getting crazy with them! You’ll have to wait for the catalog to see which picture we actually used.
The picture at the bottom of the sequence is the realization that they have to pick up all the cards now…
