Vegas baby!

22 02 2010

We’re BAAAAAACCCCKKKK! And obviously still delirious from our semi-annual trip to Las Vegas fro Magic! Traffic was up, we sold a ton of shirts and Fortunate necklace displays! Things are moving and we couldn’t be happier about it! We met some great people including Fox 5 Vegas reporter Amy Carabba, pictured here wearing our Fortunate necklace. We will have a video of the segment up shortly but wanted to get these behind the scenes pics up first. We did several “teases” before we did our segment.

Amy got the perfect fortune “The hard times will begin to fade and joy will take their place.”  She said it was very fitting because of a recent personal situation and seemed shocked that she got that fortune on the air!  Fun, Fortune always seems to find you :)

The show was a blast as always and very tiring, but worth it!  Here’s to a great 2010!

Do you feel a draft?

3 11 2009

The winds of change are blowing through Tea Stain Clothing.  As we reflect on our second full year of production we are thankful for all of our customers – wholesale and retail!  With your support we have reached 60 retailers!  We hope to have a big 2010 and reach the century mark.  We’ve had great success in a tough economy and as we go into our third production year, we’ve got some changes in store.

Tea Stain Clothing is going to become more exclusive… we know, we know… you’re worried you’ll have to pay an “exclusive” price.  Not so!  We’re keeping our pricing at the same levels and even lower in some styles.  Our plan for 2010 is to limit production of each style and release new styles every 5-6 months.  We will only print a few hundred per style – not per size and color, per style.  This means the likelihood you’ll see someone else wearing your same Tea Stain style is slim at best.

We feel that keeping our line fresh and selling completely out of our styles will bring a more exclusive feel to the brand and guarantee you own a unique piece of Tea Stain Clothing!  The moral of the story – if you see something you like, GET IT before it’s gone forever.  You’ll see this change throughout our retailers and in our online store.  Starting January 2010 there will be no more clearance section and styles will be limited to their availability.  This is an exciting change for us and we hope you appreciate the exclusive brand feel we’re trying to provide you, our fans!

Additionally, The Music Fashion Project will get a “face lift” sometime in December.  We’ll be offering a standardized Tea Stain MFP shirt for $19 and extended sizes up to 2XL in men’s and women’s styles!  We hope this will allow more people to help us raise money for music charities and get a great shirt!  It also makes a great gift for the holidays :)

MAGIC – Back From Vegas!

10 09 2009

Sorry for not updating the blog earlier, we’ve been swamped since we got back from Las Vegas!  For those of you who follow us on Twitter (@teastainshirts) you probably heard about our fiasco – having all of the catalogs removed from our booth without out knowledge.  We’re not speculating on how that went down, we overcame and added some great new stores carrying Tea Stain Clothing.  Of course, we have a lot of follow up to do so we hope to add more in the coming weeks!

We brought some pictures back with us.  We had an interview with Reach Magazine TV (www.reachmagazinetv.com) , a new network debuting in October (satellite channel 20 I’m told).  They were great and perfect timing… we had Ray and Bobby from The Bangkok Five joining us that day to talk about The Music Fashion Project.  A special thanks to the guys for making the trip out to Vegas.  Great guys in a great band!  Can’t wait to hear the new albums, thanks for the preview.

We added our first International account while we were at the show!  We’re excited to see how Tea Stain does in Canada at SKU Clothing.  Enough talk, here are some pics for your viewing pleasure.  As always, thank you for your support.

While walking the strip with Ray and Bobby we stopped to enjoy the ‘volcano’ in front of the Mirage. That thing is freakin hot!

With the guys at the Kenny Chesney acoustic set at Hard Rock’s pool. We were able to get VIP passes, but the guys got us Cabana Service thanks to their maneuvering.

Overall it was a great show. Traffic was up, we wrote a good volume of new orders and had a blast! Looking forward to Magic in February… see you there!

Appel & Frank Sample Sale

19 08 2009

Last week we visited San Francisco for the Appel & Frank sample sale.  We met some great new Tea Stain fans at the event and it was a mad house!  If you’re looking for some great deals, make sure you sign up to attend their next event at http://www.appelandfrank.com.  I think the next event is in December.  Below are some pictures of the event. Forgive the low picture quality… iPhone pics.

Wow, we can’t keep up!

19 08 2009

We’ve got so much to tell you, but so little time!  We recently shot a new catalog, attended a sample sale in SF, went on Good Day Sacramento to promote The Music Fashion Project, and we’re getting ready to head to Magic in Las Vegas at the end of the month!  Hectic doesn’t even begin to describe how things are in Tea Stain land.  We promise to get some pics and posts up by the end of the week to update you on all the happenings.   Here’s what is on deck:
